When to Fish
Our season runs from November through May, and every part of the season offers a different fly fishing experience.
Spring (November – December)
Post-spawn brown trout become increasingly aggressive while rainbow trout are highly active. An excellent time for streamer fishing, dry flies, and covering plenty of water.
Summer (January – February)
Long days, clear water, and outstanding dry fly fishing. Sight fishing opportunities increase, making this one of the most enjoyable times of the season.
Fall (March – May)
The season reaches its peak as large migratory brown trout begin moving upstream. For many anglers, this is the most anticipated time of year and the best opportunity to target truly exceptional fish.
